Rose is an odd one as she started in GW2 with 125 health and was so annoying at launch of that game that I refer to it as 'the Rose plague' as plant teams in matches were dominated by them to the point that one team I played against had 1 sunflower, 1 citron, and 10 roses. Her appearance is not that great in BfN after she looked great in GW2 (especially Nec'Rose), and she had a lot of changes as well, although her core concept is largely unchanged.
S-Cape: Not gaining forward speed makes this one less useful than it could be. It's not too expensive and not useless, but not one I use much either.
Locked and Loaded: Homing in BfN is very unreliable so by association, so is this upgrade. When it works, homing at extended ranges is very powerful and emphasizes how BfN has such long ranged fights thanks to the lack of damage drop off. It helps Rose quite a bit when all goes well too, since her projectiles travel so slowly.
Time Snare: On my main rose build I use this as I like the ability in GW2. I prefer it as an ability to be honest, but this works out and the cost seems right.
Thistle Missile: This is mostly good as her normal projectile speed is quite languid, but it also creates even more issues with homing. I have used this but I can't recommend getting this and locked and loaded on the same build. Faster projectile speed is almost always better if you don't rely on the homing though.
Pollination: Really good when zombies are grouped up, useless otherwise.
Photosynthesis: Not a bad ability as the healing feels enough to be worth it without being too good.
Carpool: Not the biggest fan of BfN's arcane enigma, even if it does feel more supportive than the GW2 version (I use Arcane Lotus mostly in GW2 after it got buffed), so getting it for longer, when it already lasts a long time is a bit much, although giving allies a speed boost is helpful, so them giving something back to you isn't a bad idea at its face.
Epiphany: This thing needs to go. This and the Electric Slide version are massive problems. Being able to become invulnerable, still contest capture points, and healing (and reloading as ES, which makes it even worse in her case) to boot is insanely good. To me no cost can justify how good these things are, even at 7 points it should be removed from the game.
Goatality: This one is annoying as a zombie for sure. Is it balanced though? At 3 points, it's not that expensive, but not super cheap either. I have a hard time telling how common this is as I'm not generally counting the time when goatfiied, I'm either trying to get into cover, get out of there, or head butt the plants!
Psychedelic Goatify: A return of this alternate ability from GW2. It would be better if the effect when cast was different from the normal one, like it's multi-colored or something, so we can tell it's not the normal goatify.
