This shall be interesting as we have no GW2 version to compare to. Snapdragon is a solid character, but if fire wasn't as funky as it is in BfN, he'd be even more powerful.
Excellent Accelerant: This would be much better if fire actually vanquished properly. They did fix it healing people, but it still should perform better than it does here. It's a decent upgrade despite that issue, as it at least can inflict a large amount of damage.
Coolant: Quite useful to prevent overheating, especially if you set large groups of enemy on fire. Another ability that's decent in multiplayer, but even better in PvE.
Radiate: Straight up upgrade to flare ball. If you use that alternate fire of your main weapon often, it's definitely worth the upgrade points.
Campfire: Very handy for objective based modes and Ops as it can make the objective a painful place to be. Less useful in vanquish modes as they tend to be more mobile fights.
Quake: Swoop Slam really hurts so lots of enemies won't survive the initial attack anyway, and your main attack is a close range fire breath weapon so this isn't all that useful in many situations, although it can be great to take out some zombies and push the rest away from an objective.
Incendiary: Kind of odd how it works. Swoop Slam is deadly on direct hits and this puts nearby zombies into greater danger from near misses. Decent upgrade overall.
Heat Seeking: Blue Blazes is already a better version of the seeking ultra ball from GW2, and this making it even better means its a very effective upgrade to an ability that is already very powerful.
Ventilation: Very effective upgrade. Taking your best, or one of your best, abilities and giving it this upgrade just makes it all the more powerful.
Engulf: Area denial at its best. Perfect for objective modes and for Ops.
Backdraft: Not that great for 3 upgrade points. It's not useless but the slight surprise advantage isn't all that powerful for 3/7 of your upgrade points.
Snapdragon has some interesting upgrades! You have upgrades that require you to use your secondary fire, to buff your abilities and their cooldown in interesting ways and to reduce overheat time so that you can attack for longer. It's quite interesting and I like the variety, although I would suggest including an upgrade that only affects your Flare Blower, which is your primary weapon of course (not the alternate fire) as Snapdragon players are likely to use this attack more often. Alternatively, if the Flare Ball upgrade, Radiate, had an effect on your Flame Blower as well, such as an improved rate of fire or range, at the cost of that upgrade costing more upgrade points, like 4 or so.
Perhaps the Campfire upgrade should be a Blazing Trail upgrade and the upgrade that improves your Blazing Trail travel time should be reworked, as it does not seem useful in that many situations. The Campfire upgrade does release a mini Blazing Trail, although it does not actually count as a Blazing Trail upgrade and I suggest that it should become a direct upgrade to Blazing Trail instead. The Swoop Slam abilities are interesting, the upgrade that deals knockback does not seem that great although could be utilised in certain situations, and the other one will benefit you even if you do not hit an enemy directly, although it should not cost 4 upgrade points to use (2 should be fine, fire damage is not fatal).
The upgrades that reduce your overheat time is really useful, and you can attack for longer. You can use the Coolant upgrade to completely remove your overheat, which is insanely good, you could continue to attack until you overheat, launch your Blue Blazes, and then attack as if you never overheated in the first place. Awesome, and not only that, but you also get reduced refresh times on your other abilities, so that is useful as well. You can launch your Blue Blazes randomly just to gain these additional effects. The Excellent Accelerant upgrade is useful for improved fire damage, although because fire damage is not fatal in this game, is it actually worth using particularly?
Snapdragon does have some useful upgrades and it can really improve your efficiency in earning vanquishes.
