Eh, that'd be a little hard to code. She's a viable sidegrade atm, and she shouldn't become a part time Chomper because of one ability.
Besides, don't we already have Count Chompula for that? 😃 (Even though he's UP atm)
I just wish she had some unique abilities that played towards her Vampiric strengths.
It wouldn't be that hard to implement, just have her tackle someone, leech onto them and the rest is history. Ok maybe not have it unrevivable, but it should be a OHKO. A Scientist is warping in on you in close range ready to get the jump on you, surprise it with your own gruesome attack.
I don't see this being a bad thing for this Sunflower.
Vampire Flower is already the most powerful flower. She doesn't need a buff. If you know what you are doing the Vanquish Boast and even Streak Boast is yours.

....no she's not. 75 HP and her life leech doesn't apply when she's being attacked. Vampire is the worst variant for her.
Where she leaps on any Zombie and sucks the blood out of them for a nice OHKO.
Ehhh, kid-friendly game there, remember? 😉

First off Sun Pharaoh is the strongest. Vampire Sunflower is amazing as well offensively, but defensively when you are in close range you can get OHKO by a lot of things. So it's only fair to have something that can do the same to help protect yourself.
I can do well with her, but when a Scientist warps in on you it's over and even if you hit them with every single one of your projectiles they still out DPS you.
Not to mention this would be especially effective to have in Herbal Assault when you have to push into the Garden, something where Solar Beam is absolutely useless.
Kid friendly game is exactly why we have a lot of issues that we have, Especially with proper co-ordination that both teams should have to triumph which atm only effects the plants. Zombies can run and gun as they wish and still be successful.
They could still make this kid friendly and just have the life drain effect instead of blood as she's draining them. Although it would be nice if she had her own type of dot effect as well like a chance at bleed damage when enough of her shots land.
- I have gotten revival, heal, vanquish and streak boast in one game as the vampire flower and it was my first time playing as her. I used to be shadow flower or metal petal but vampire flower out shines them all.

Oooooo I like that idea. A DoT that leeches life.

That bleed and dot goes exactly with a Vampire theme, great suggestion to compensate for her minuscule health value.

She was the first plant I got to master, and yes she can be very good indeed. Only her health lets her down (kind of).
I had a suggestion on another thread regarding sunflowers. An alternative 'heal beam'. Basically instead of healing, it drains a victim of health, healing your own, whilst also reducing the damage of their primary weapon, and also adding to your own. No idea on numbers for the damage drain but if set just right as a percentage, rather than a number, it would negate the need for a 'shotgun variant' class. When the link is broken the health drain / heal stops, but the damage gained stays active for a couple of seconds. That would definately fit a vampire flower. Brain Drain?
