visual glitch for pc version of garden warfare, way to fix?

I had preloaded the pc version of Plants Versus Zombies Garden Warfare, and i can get to the menu just fine, but when i tried to view the characters or played a game, that's when the good things ende...

People have said this occurs on the Character screen and in game, but can someone please explain in as much detail as possible, exactly what they're seeing so that it's effecting gameplay?

Also a screenshot would be greatly appreciated.

Indeed.  Also including your graphics card and ideally driver version may also help.
