@ippig I didn't find it that bad, I jumped on a few games today and already have the first two challenges, just need to do the third, and I didn't find these challenges too hard!
I will provide my tips for these three weekly challenges of this event, if people are aiming on doing it for the coins, or more importantly, rainbow stars 🙂:
1. Win a Match. This one is straightforward. It shouldn't take long to do, if you want to increase your odds of winning quickly, try and help your team as much as possible and focus on the vanquishes at hand, and revives where possible. Healers are excellent in team vanquish due to their healing and reviving, and don't seem to be commonly players. So being a healer character or helping your team out as much as possible is ideal! Also, occasionally, joining into a game of this could easily net a really quick win - if you join near the end and your team is winning - which is what happened to me. So this challenge is mostly about luck!
2. Vanquish an Opponent while Invincible. Obviously, you need the Crystal Dog to do this quest. If wanted, starting the game as a speedy character (character with mobility and speedy abilities, such as Acorn Dash), would probably help, and then going to the middle and picking up the dog quickly. Then, going and hunting for opponents on the other team and vanquishing someone by attacking them with all you've got! You do extra damage with the Crystal Dog active, so this challenge should be quite easy. 80s Action Hero or Acorn & Oak would probably be handy for this one because of their abilities, but most characters can achieve this relatively well.
3. Get 3 vanquishes while you have the Crystal Dog in a single spawn. Basically means you need 3 vanquishes with Crystal Dog in one game, and in a row without dying. You don't need to do this challenge with one crystal dog, so when the effect ends, you are better off waiting for the next one to spawn and to try picking up the Dog again, or if failing that, staying back and playing it safe and staying away from enemies, and then repeating until you have another chance with the Crystal Dog again. It's not ideal, but it's possibly the best way of doing this challenge! It would help to play a character with high survivability, due to tankiness or abilities, or high mobility, to get away and help avoid getting vanquished. This one is quite difficult, but gives 40 rainbow stars, so go forth and conquer (get that challenge 😃)!
