What is the quickest way to get new abilities?

I'm a new player, and I've been looking for a post on the best or quickest way to unlock new abilities for my characters, like the Mega Heal Bomb for the Scientist or (is this even real?) the Vampweed...

That all makes sense, but I want to increase my chances of getting those abilities when I purchase those sticker packs. I'd also like to know how to get coins extra fast, because Rux's shop opens really soon, and I want to be ready for it.

Unfortunately there's no means by which to improve your chances outside of purchasing one type of Sticker Pack over another, depending on what you are trying to obtain, because the system is completely randomized and not influenced by anything at all, including it's own past behavior in what it did or did not give you.
