They definitely feel weak, especially when you compare them to the Cactus' mines and nowhere near as useful as the Chomper's spikeweed traps.
Yeah, I was really disappointed that the mega heal "bomb" wasn't an offensive ability. Having one big damage dealing bomb instead of the little ones would have been awesome, hopefully they add an improved stick ball in if we get another ability update.

The plants do seem to have the advantage overall.
Chili Bomb - capable of multiple kills
Mine - instant kill for one target
Spike Weed - temporarily incapacitates a player as well as damages them for 50 points
2 Cactus variants that can one hit kill with a charged shot.
Chomper which is instant kill on swallow.
Is there a sunflower variant which can one hit kill on a fully charged shot, also?
Are there any zombies that can one hit kill someone aside from an imp punt or ZPM?
All Star's tackle does high damage, but I've always had full health plants survive afterwards.
It would be nice to have a chart that breaks down damage per shot for each character and include some kind of fire rate (low/med/high).

Seem there are imbalances also with the way things recharge and how some instant refil after death like the chili bean yet many other skills still have to cooldown first.

Camo Cactus only does 88 when upgraded, not quite a oneshot.
Mystic Flower does not oneshot, even when fully charged, not to mention her only advantage is being able to heal.

I've been one shot by a camo cactus while at full health. It may have been a headshot, which may make the difference. As far as I know, none of the zombies can one shot with their primary weapon.
The Sunflower, in general, is really weak. It's the one class I dread using and generally use most of my skip challenges to level up so I can use classes which are more offensive. I avoid using sunflower for anything except garden ops... it's that unlikeable.
Sunbeam and gatling gun are two abilities that I will rarely, if ever, use. I'd much rather be mobile than be anchored to one spot. The deployable flower pot for the sunflower was a nice addition, but it's severely underpowered... just like the sunflower itself.
