I'm primarily a zombie player in Diamond league, and I see freeze decks all the time. A good portion of the decks I play against are freeze decks (and most of the rest tend to be Solar Flare "I'll play only one plant the entire game while the rest of my deck just ensures none of your zombies stay on the board" decks).
I also tend to use freeze decks myself when playing a plant hero that can support it. They don't always work, but when they do it's a thing of beauty.
I am with @ThCakeIsALie and other freeze deck pros here who pointed out that especially untrickible and zombie evolution are a problem for that deck. A friend of mine has developed a really strong rose deck where he was able to rapidly climb up the ladder. Imo rose is atm the strongest plant hero (her superpowers) to beat the op zombie decks from e.g. rustbolt right now. Give it a shot:
