Will town hall ever open again? (GW2)
I ask this on this forum, as it's the more active one. I recently got a new Xbox, and after switching onto GW2, I found that I had somehow lost my rank but not my variants, luckily. I was fine with this, as rank doesn't mean much to me. I never played this game much, but lately I have found a new love for it. I've been collecting all the gnomes, and after I finished that, I moved onto the locked door on the other side of the gnome chamber. I'm pretty sure the key to the door is found in the town hall, next to the seagull. I'm also aware that GW2's live services and events have been discontinued, so will town hall ever open again? I really wanna do the trials of gnomus and I regret not doing them when the dlc came out.

As I have heard, the developers are not shutting the town hall completely, but the Town Hall is not going to be open as frequently as it used to. It used to open once per week, and there would be one day in each week when it would be closed.
Now, the portal will only be open for two weeks each month, at the start. Basically, the first two weeks (one fortnight) of each month, the town hall will be open, but for the rest of the month, it will be closed!
