The old maps are far better then the new ones. It shouldn't be hard at all for them to pull them over since they are using the same engine.
- 10 years agoAs we only have 4 maps for turf takeover then they will become stale real quick so I will take any new maps to play on we can get....
- Anonymous10 years agoI would seriously pay for it too, those maps were far superior to these. Like someone said they were clean and they were just works of art. These play n look like rushed. I swear I can't stay alive for more than 15 secs, and I was beast in the last game. Idk maybe I just suck now. Lol

They said on stream that they might, they're always listening to what we want. They then asked what map would we want back, the consensus in the chat was Main Street.

I would absolutely love to see the maps from the first game brought into the second. What I like about Garden Warfare 2's maps is that they feel varied. As oppose to the first game's maps being nearly all city/town streets and suburbs. However I love those GW1 maps so much more than what we have in GW2. They said they will never sell DLC and all additions would be free. So they couldn't sell or make DLC of the first games maps. Also that would split a lot of the playerbase since the maps would only be playable by those who bought the dlc. Still though I would love to see them released for this game as well. I'm mostly speaking for the Garden Ops levels, but other game mode maps are welcome too. I know I could just play the first game, but the first game doesn't have ai bot teammates. That and how long are the EA servers for the games staying up? Will they ever be dropping the servers for the game, making it unplayable? I myself am worried the only reason we have a year to transfer stuff from the first game is because they might close the first game's servers.
For short, I want the first game's maps in GW2.
