If you can demonstrate the uniqueness of the character, plus-minus and how to adjust your play style to maximize the strength and minimize the weakness, that would be great.
After that demonstrate with scenarios (similar like use cases) and how to approach this situation to get maximum result with this character.
And also how to counter act enemy abilities, avoid pit fall/temptation, when to attack, when to hold on, (strategy) etc.
Basically how to become OP with the character with minimum death.

Your video can start with :
1. Basic/core strategy with default character first
2. Explain the variants and how to be come OP with this variant.
3. Advance strategy for specific game mode (TT, Gnome bomb, etc).

You have good recommendations, but my guide and/or tier list can only be built by me (as an individual) unless someone else wants to participate. But at the rate I'm going:
1) Of course the unique character variation will be described, plus-minus how to adjust playstyle to maximize strength.
2) With your second point, you CANNOT get maximum results with the same characters in same or similar situations because the characters are so diverse and the tier list is real.
3) Not every character can become over powered.
But at the top of the Tier List (so far), and currently, I have:
1) Hovergoat 3000 (Somewhere in A+ to S Tier)/Zombie
2) STANDARD VARIANT Rose (S tier)/Plant
3) Ice Soldier (Somewhere in A+ to S Tier)/Zombie
4) STANDARD VARIANT Cactus (S tier)/Plant
Yes tips, tricks, and dirty tech will all be shown. I already shown some of it. Good tech for the cactus on the two maps with portals is the plant mines just as you go through the portals. I get people every time.
