Xbox 360 to xbox one pvz garden warfare.

Just updated from a 360 to a Xbox one with pvz garden warfare for my son. Trying to log into his origin account and it keeps saying this account exists and won't go any further. Why can't he use his gamer tag from his 360 on his new Xbox one?
Also can he transfer his achievements from 360 to Xbox one?

    You can use the same gamertag on Xbox One & 360 but I don't think PVZGW supports transferring data from one console to another (regardless if they're both Xbox). If there is a way I hope you can find one, Have a great day!
