Game was working fine last night and pre update up until I downloaded it a few hours ago. Now whenever I try to boot the game up it'll crash after freezing on the sunflower loading screen at the start repeatedly. I'm on XBOX ONE

Yeah me too. After logos it loads for 20 secs then freezes and exits

Can you go to the home screen and force quit PvZ: GW2. Then turn the XBOX off and pull the cable out for 60 seconds to clear the cache.
Once this is done boot back up and load into the game and let me know if you're able to get in.

EA Staff (Retired)Sorry @chips211202minty, should have made that clear. Once the XBOX is powered off it's the mains power cable you should remove from the XBOX for 60 seconds.

If this the connection test is successful, your console will connect to Xbox Live.
Note If you are prompted to update your console software, select Yes.
The sunflower you are seeing is the game trying to load so it's possible it's connection related. If you can complete the above for me and let me know that would be great.
Do you get any error message when the game crashes? Does it kick you back to the home screen? Does the game automatically shut down?

ive tested it and it says everything is fine. it kicks me back to home screen then a few seconds later it refreshes the page and it comes up with the box art
