You can NOT play this game offline!

Just a warning for those of you who originally intended to purchase this for offline play, and those of us who see the loss of value. I am not sure why this changed, or when, but it's even printed on the case.

Just a question. Can any ps4/xbox one game be played offline (by that I mean without these consoles being connectd to internet)?

Absolutely. That requirement was dropped before the Xbox One was even released. But you must temporarily connect the system to the internet (to download the update that enables this) before you can use it for the first time.
