They released the loyalty rewards a good month before the release of Garden Warfare 2 so you had plenty of time to power level to rank 313 and if you did not do this, you don't deserve the unicorn chomper. I am seeing so many threads about people complaining they don't have it and how you should make it available to get in GW2 and I think that is *. I work a 12 hour job and was rank 141 when I heard about the unicorn chomper. If I managed to reach 313, then nearly anyone could have in that short time span. If you didn't you have an entire year to go back and earn it. What? You don't want to go and play an old game, sounds like you aren't LOYAL enough to the series to go back and play the original game. I hope they never release it to everyone on GW2 because that would not be fair for those who worked hard for it. You had and have plenty of time to go and get it. Quit your *ing, stop playing Rose, and go rank up.

So this is the face of the GW community? Disgraceful.POPCAP would do themselves well not to bend for arrogant players who feel entitled to something because they paid for the game. POPCAP tries to thank some players and the rest feel like their purchase entitles them to be CEO of EA. Not happening on my watch. The Unicorn Chomper is a reward for players who achieved the max rank in GW1. POPCAP wanted to award them for going the extra mile even though they did NOT have to. There was NEVER an incentive to be max rank in GW1 besides a cool star icon. So POPCAP wanted to do something nice for them that did so. Before the announcement, players who made max rank kept playing regardless of having unlocked everything and not being able to rank up any further. These are the players POPCAP wanted to thank for their dedication. To all you players who think you are better than the ones who earned the unicorn chomper remember this:EVEN SALT LOOKS LIKE SUGAR SOMETIMES.

Wow, this is some pretty hateful rhetoric flying around here. Why does anyone else having something affect the quality of what you have? I understand that you worked hard getting to 313 and I respect that. I stopped leveling my character at around 74 in GW1 because I didn't see a reason go further. I never heard about there being a level-exclusive chomper despite being an avid fan of PvZ:GW1 and participating in the Open Beta.But also consider this mentality: We paid for the game and have a copy of that chomper on our Xboxes/PS4s/PCs right now. But it is locked from us in order to make you feel better. That's a big bummer that you and PopCap have to do that. When they do unlock Unicorn Chomper for everyone - which they will because it is an awful idea to withhold a whole variant from players of game so heavily based around collecting sets - be happy knowing that you had the chomper for weeks/months before the rest of us. That is what you grinded for and you should use it loud n' proud right now.

I think a good solution to this, especially for the people that didn't get the first game. Make it available in Gw2 if you max promote all the launch classes and varients. That's like rank 5000+. I believe that deserves the same reward as ranking to max in GW1. Different method of leveling but people want to play the new game not the old one. Plus there is a place for the unicorn chomper in the Stat room that will be forever empty if somebody gets the game after next feb and they may have never had a chance to go get it. It doesn't have to be given away in Gw2 or even easy to get. Just launch max rank and it will take a lot of time to get there just like it took a lot of time to hit 313 in GW1.

I've also bought and reach lvl 50 on front front. So I got about over 16 years of dice games and about 7 years of year. What is loyalty? I'd saying buying all those dice and popcap games is loyalty enough, not grinding out 500 hours and using skip star to get to rank 313 on the first game.

I was just about to start a new thread and say exactly the same thing. Good on you friend. I too was level 140 when I heard the announement at the end of the Beta. I decided to go for it and after much hard gaming I reached 313 with about a week to go before GW2.

I am really really sick of hearing from these whingers crying about not having the chomper. Really - tell someone who cares. I actually was advocating that maybe a system should be intorduced in GW 2 to earn the leg chomp. Now I think stick it - if you want it go and get it like the rest of us.

I really hope PopCap and EA never do anything else like the rewards again, they really dont deserve all the stick they have got over this.

Well, last game they had the special chester characters and enough people complained about not getting them so they gave them out for free even after people went and spent real money on them. So I am assuming those people are back and wanting the same for the unicorn chomper. Thing is, I hardly see chompers in general so I feel like these people feel like they are just entitled to it because it exist. I am surprised I am not seeing more threads on the Mass Effect Imp.

Exactly - I only use the legendary chomper in garden ops. I would never use it in the other modes, its like having a giant target on your back - here's a 313 lets get em. Besides its not really all that strong. I'm also surprised people aren't whinging about the Mass effect imp and the brainz and corn delux edition character variants.

I totally agree with you and your perspective. I never played pvzgw1 due to me not owning a console at the time. Although I didn't earn it I would still gladly pay real money later on to get this chomper. I do believe the rank 313 people deserve it so they should be the only one to have it. I also believe that they don't need to give people the unicorn chomper. Like you said they gave people a month to start ranking up for it.

Reaching 313 isn't a test of loyalty , it's a test of how big your pocket book is to buy skip tokens.😛
