You don't deserve Unicorn Chomper
They released the loyalty rewards a good month before the release of Garden Warfare 2 so you had plenty of time to power level to rank 313 and if you did not do this, you don't deserve the unicorn ch...

Cool. I personally don't care or want the unicorn chomper. But guess what. It's in my way to completing my sticker book. That's cool you went the extra mile to get it. Grats. When companies start locking people out of what's already on the disk it makes me mad. If it was something that was cosmetic and epic that would be fair. But a legendary varient with legendary skills is what upsets me.
Its a base chomper with the scientist's warp capability. Other than the combination, there's nothing new or legendary about it. The best advantage it gives you is when all the jealous zombie players come after you and that may help your team win the match.

Exactly - it does look pretty awesome, but thats about it. He/she is probably the weakest of my chompers. Not sure if it will change, but at the moment it can't even burrow, which is a big disadvantage. I love him/her none the less though.
- I think a good solution to this, especially for the people that didn't get the first game. Make it available in Gw2 if you max promote all the launch classes and varients. That's like rank 5000+. I believe that deserves the same reward as ranking to max in GW1. Different method of leveling but people want to play the new game not the old one. Plus there is a place for the unicorn chomper in the Stat room that will be forever empty if somebody gets the game after next feb and they may have never had a chance to go get it. It doesn't have to be given away in Gw2 or even easy to get. Just launch max rank and it will take a lot of time to get there just like it took a lot of time to hit 313 in GW1.
I fully expected it to be that way: max out your character in Pvz:GW2 to get it. Was totally okay with that. Now I found out that you can't. That sucks. Now I'm hearing a bunch of kids that literally don't want me to have it because me having it would make them feel bad about having it too. Wow. I really don't know what to say. Well luckily I had around 500 Skip stars banked up in GW1, so I'll go see how far that will get me.
the unicorn chomper is bad don't complain about getting it. Its only a new color and a weak warp ability.
