(The bigger your deck, the less likely it will be for you to draw a specific card.)
There were some people that actually asked to REDUCE the deck size, so they could draw better.
I would not mind having a bigger deck, but the devs would NEED to add more card draw. Without it, the card you need in order to win will no longer be in the bottom of your 40 card deck, but in the bottom of your 60 card deck.

You wouldn´t want that. There are several reasons for that. I think most important is that the entire card draw in the entire card pool would need a rebalancing.
At the current state of draw this would be a also very in favor of everyone playing brainy....because they got the only really substantial draw.
Combo decks would cease to exist as we know them in a 60 card deck-ruleset because the combos we got are just to unreliable in this and would only appear as OTK winoption in a hard controldeck which on the other hand would require a LOT of good drawing-options for almost all classes.
The game would also require more Spotremoval/Massremoval because sticky Zombies and Plants would thrive under these conditions. Currently there is hardly enough good removal to really skip on any Spotremoval if you play a control Deck. Generally; Spotremoval is slightly more expensive than in most other TCGs because it needs to be more reliable there.
In both YGO and MTG tutoring and extensive filtering exists. Currently you cannot get a specific card from your Deck and as far as I know there are not options to filter it either. Hearthstone has a compareable problem and tried to tackle it with a card that, when played, removes all cards that cost 3(?) or less from the rest of your Deck. And this is still very inefficient because its on a legendary (1 in 30 cards)
And to make things worse; 40 to 60 is a horrible idear because it would require balancing for all decksizes.

I don't think they would ever change the way ranked matches currently work. I wouldn't want them to.
But, I would really be interested in an unranked sandbox mode that lets players change a bunch of variables such as max health, deck size, card draw, and other interesting mechanics such as regenerating health or sun/brain allotments.

And honestly, I don't see why the devs would implement such a thing. (Where you can modify such parameters yourself).
