Z-mech (and Imp) balance discussion

Personally, I find Z-mech to be underwhelming and cheap. Z-mech's primary is underwhelming, Robo Call gives almost instant invincibility, and Explosive Escape covers a lot of area and is very powerful. Z-mech feels like an ability that is lost too quickly, and rewards player for making bad plays. (Like spawning Z-mech in the middle of the plant team, and then using Explosive Escape)

Z-mech tends to take a lot of damage since its such a big target, and sometimes it feels like Z-mech is lost too easily. I thought Z-mech having armor would be good, but what about an alternative? If Z-mech does not get armor, at least allow Z-mech to regenerate health, but the regeneration is slower than normal health regen that every class has. This can vary from slower regen startup, to slower regen, or both, as long as it keeps Z-mech from being played more passively (Camping or hiding still won't be the best way to play Z-mech, despite the Health regen).

Z-mech having Health Regen would also reward Z-mech players who win a fight without losing the Z-mech. Sometimes I'll win a fight, but I won't have enough health on Z-mech to keep pushing, so I might as well throw away the Z-mech.

Z-mech's primary could also use a buff, but the cheap stuff about Z-mech needs changes as well.

Seeing that Z-mech did not get any changes last patch, I hope that it will get some changes soon because Z-mech's design is comprised of some cheap tricks for getting kills, and entering a fight almost always results in losing Z-mech.
