Zombies attack first. Had you noticed?

I was playing on plants side. Both heroes had 1 of health and didn't have shield, and on the first lane we both had a character with Strikethrough trait. We did not use tricks either because we did not have. Guess who won.

Spoiler
Apparently, deadly, frenzy, afterlife and gravestone is not enough...

  • That sucks! What a crazy situation! Should be a draw...

For the record, though, plants have anti hero and armor as well.

Exactly, it was a very crazy situation. First time that happened to me!

Oh, you're absolutely right. I missed it. I gave you experience for correcting me.

No worries. I don't think plant's anti hero or armor is as effective... but it is there.

Hell, you know me pretty well on here. I almost always argue that the game is balanced, but even i have to admit that as of late, plants are getting shorted. Do i still win? Yeah, but half the time it feels more like luck than my build.

If you look at the attack animations, you can see the zombies always attack first.

But guys, I play both sides equally and what you say is true in a way, zombies have a lot of cool/great abilities, but so do plants (team-up, freeze, most of strikethrough and most of bullseye). I'd say that my win rate doesn't change much when I switch race and is more linked to the matchups I get and of course the builds. 🙂

  • when you first play the game, the mechanics are explained to you.

    zombies attack first.

Lol thanks jay. I do think in those situations it should be a draw though. The lane should determine win, not the order.
