Same question on xbox one. I get no message or something. I have the disc version. I can't find a way to download this??...can someone give me some information

This DLC is free and upon booting the game it should prompt you to download it, no matter the console.
Xbox 360:
If it's repeatedly asking you to download the DLC/reboot the game, and you continue to get this message after rebooting; delete Garden Warfare from your hard drive and boot the game, downloading everything fresh. All progression is saved server side so you need not fear losing anything.
Xbox One:
Upon selecting Garden Warfare, you'll get a prompt saying "This game or app needs an update" and you'll have the option to start updating. The installer will begin on the dashboard, and you will be able to enter the streaming install world after it's been installing for a bit. If it so happens that it gets stuck at 99% and it keeps putting you in the streaming install world; delete PvZ from your hard drive and redownload it. Like the 360, all progression is saved server side, so nothing will be lost.
Easiest way to know if you're upto date on either console, is to attempt playing a multiplayer game. If you are able to connect to a game session, then you're fully updated.

I remove the game and installed again, and still don;t see the message

If you didn't see the message and it booted straight into game, did you try joining a match? I believe there is a setting somewhere on the Xbox One that allows it to update games without permission. I dont personally have this on.
If you're able to connect and play a game then you're fully updated.
