i don't think this is a hack. i think this is EA deliberately making this happen. this is their way of making players spend all their Arena Gauntlets and then buying more. seven times out of seven, i encounter this same player as mentioned by previous. i thought this was supposed to be random ? also, this guy uses plants that i myself have not been able to select. and his score increases a million at a time. perhaps EA wants us to drop into lower leagues ? in the league table, it seems others are able to progress and increase their score except me. also, if the Arena is live and versus another real player, how is it sometimes i am able to pause my game for up to 45 minutes ? don't tell me the other player i am facing also has got to wait this 45 minutes with me ? anyhow, i feel this game is rigged for the players to spend money, and so, after 8 years playing this game, i have decided to quit this game and move on to more relaxing games like Microsoft Solitaire or something.
