cant join club pogo after sub purchase

I recently bought a yearly subscription (twice) and it still won't let me join Club Pogo.  It still has me as a free player and I dont want all of the ads.  What can I do to contact EA/Pogo to fix this issue?

  • It's a total SCAM.

    My membership lapsed and I bought a new sub for $27.43.

    They took my money and never activated my membership. I have spent MONTHS (since January of this year) going back and forth with support. I was told that they had a "tools outage" that didn't allow them to active my membership and to try again later. I have asked for a refund multiple times and was told that the same tools outage prevented them from doing that, also.

    I just contacted again today and was now told that they couldn't refund a purchase from January and still couldn't activate my membership but that I should check with them in a couple days to help "further their research."

    Taking someone's money for a service you are knowingly unable or unwilling to provide is the definition of fraud and theft.

    The support team does nothing but give you the runaround. If anyone else has had any luck with them, I'd love to know how.

    EA stole my money.

    This thread has gotten a bit old, If you are having issues accessing the benefits of Club Pogo or renewing your subscription you will need to speak with our support. 

     

    1. Go to the EA Help homepage.
    2. Select Pogo
    3. Select the "See all help topics"
    4. Select the option I'm looking for something I bought
    5. You should be able to choose from Chat or Email (options can vary

  • Ilium, as I mentioned in my post, I have had NUMEROUS contacts with support over the last 10 months and not a single support person has helped. Not one. 

    I get the same BS answer every time about you having tool problems that prevent you from being able to absolutely anything. 

    What EA Support provides: 1) BS, 2) the runaround, 3) an email asking if you still need help after they did nothing to help you in the first place, 4) emails asking how their service is

    What EA Support does not provide: 1) answers, 2) action, 3) a refund of the money EA fraudulently accepted from you as payment for a service they knowingly couldn’t provide due to technical issues, 4) an active Club Pogo membership after you’ve paid for one

    If you could direct me to a person or place that could actually help, please do. I have the transcripts and support tickets to show that the route you suggested does nothing.
