This is a definite money grab. You buy a plot, which progressively gets smaller as you buy, and then you have to clear trees and break rocks on those plots, which uses up all your energy. Never open any of the chests! Just let them sit until they disappear. Opening them just takes up what limited space you have. That's the whole point... run you out of space until you're forced to buy more.
If I get a chest and don't want to open it, I just dig it up with the spade and free up the space. No need to wait until it times out.
the chests help though? I get rid of the gold ones as you almost never get gold keys. I open the bronze ones when I get keys, the greenhouse might be useful for something. but ya, it seems like it gets harder to get land and they bombard you with so many ads on this site, I'm not spending money to play any game. also what is with the purple bouncing gift? i click on it and it does nothing. on the left side of the screen is the purple gift with the word free on it and it also does nothing.
