Forced to create a new pogo account

Hello.  I had a Pogo account since 2007 with lots of tokens, badges, gems etc but had not used it isince April 2018.  I've just gone to log in and was taken to the EA Account login page but I was unable to log into my existing Pogo account; instead it forced me to create a new Pogo account.  Now every time I try to log in it takes me to the new Pogo account instead of my original one.  I tried the 'Forgot Screen Name' option and the e-mail sent to me showed I had two Pogo accounts associated with my e-mail address; my original account and the new one.  I've tried purging cookies and caches etc. and tried a different browser, but I'm still logged in every time to the new Pogo account.

So how do I restore my original Pogo account and remove the new one?  Any help appreciated.  Thank you.

  • Thank you for replying and thanks for that useful link.  I discovererd yesterday that the advisor solved my pogo problem by associating the new pogo account with my main EA account and moving it to an older e-mail address I gave him; then using my usual e-mail address for a new EA account and my old pogo account.  Thus it occred to me to try logging into Origin with the old e-mail address and found all my sims and other games in tact; thank goodness, although I had thought it would be the other way around with the e-mail addresses on the accounts.

    I had a read of the informaion in the link you posted, it does seem very risky particularly as I have The Sims 3 in my games list, so I think it better not to try that.  However I did see another link on that page about swapping e-mail addresses around on the accounts, which seems far safer to do, so I'll give that a try instead.

    The same is happening to me, when I sign in to my account it goes to free pogo. The tab in the top left says undefined

    Hey there, @evnwolf.

    In this case, please reach out to EA Help and they can take a look to see what might have occurred. They've been able to reunite many people with their Club Pogo, and may be able to help you, as well.

    To contact EA Help:

    • Go to https://help.ea.com
    • Click "Contact Us"
    • Select Pogo from the game list
    • Select PC or Mac
    • Select Manage my account > Can't log in
    • Click Select contact option

  • I have been a Club Pogo member for 10+ years. When I tried to log in today 12/11/2024, I was unable to do so. I had to create a new account and pay for new subscription with Pogo, and had Newbie status. Was there a billing problem info? I did not see an email informing me of this if so. Please let me know as soon as possible, as I really enjoy playing on this site. I do not wish to keep 2 accounts with Pogo. As a Military Veteran with PTSD, and this game helps me to relax when I am stressed. Thank You.

    Hey there @applebelly123 

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your account, you shouldn't have to create a new account or have a second subscription, there may just be an issue logging in on your main account.

    Sadly we can't help with account issues directly here on the forum, but if you follow this link here Manage my Pogo Account  you can can get in touch with EA Support via Chat or Email and they will be able to look into this for you and get you sorted.
