Getting internal server error when accessing friends profiles on early access

3 days ago I started with an internal server error when asked by a friend to view their profile and see if I was able to see some badges they had completed as they weren't showing in their badge profile on their account. I realized I was unable to do so when I received an internal server error.  I tried replicating this error on 4 other family accounts that I have access to and their accounts don't have an issue at all. Yesterday I started getting errors while playing games and getting kicked out. I get a box that will randomly pop up after playing a few games that says to quit game or try again. I have to clear cookies and cache to fix that error but the internal server error still persists when viewing profiles. I contacted support but they were of no help.  I tried 3 other computers besides my own and the problem still persists. It clearly can't be my devices because the problem would occur on the other pogo accounts as well. The only help I was given was to clear cache and cookies which I had already done and to make sure java and flash are up to date. Well java games are no longer on the site so what doesn't that have to do with anything and flash is going away. As pogo migrates more to the new site I would hope that it would work as intended. I don't understand why mine is the only account showing an internal server error and now randomly being kicked out of games. I'm concerned at some point I may not be able to play on my account at all with other issues popping up now. Has anyone else out there had this issue or am I the only one?

    Would you be able to give it another try and let me know if friends profiles show up now? It looks like there's been a few updates to the profile pages.

    Hey there, @B3041.

    That's definitely an odd error. After looking over your case and the troubleshooting you've done so far, I have a few follow-up questions:

    • If you're in an incognito / private browsing window, does it change the behavior of looking at profiles while logged in?
    • Can you share your Pogo Compatibility Tool information?

    Thank you for replying and trying to give me some additional help as I still have the error after 1 week.  I tried icognito and private mode and it doesn't change the behavior. After I posted here I did find another post in the pogo forums on classic pogo who is also experiencing this error so I'm not the only one. One of the mods told them to make sure they reported it to support using the help link, so I'm not sure if they did so or not. It must only be affecting certain accounts for some reason. Like I said my family accounts don't have the error using the same browser that I use. I logout and login to theirs and they're fine. Here is my pogo compatibility information:

     Browser No problem found! 
     Java Not installed / disabled More Info
     Operating System No problem found! 
     Flash No problem found! 
     Resolution No problem found!

    Hey there, @B3041. Thanks so much for the information!

    There's a few things that I'd like to try to see if it helps:

    • The minimum recommended macOS version is 10.14.6 (Mojave) or later, and you reported yours as 10.12.6. Does your Mac have the ability to install a newer macOS? Updates to macOS are free and only restricted by your Mac hardware.

    • You currently have Do Not Track set to True. One thing we can test is by disabling Do Not Track to see if it improves communication between the Pogo servers and the browsers for the profile data.

    Please give those a try and let me know how it goes for you.

    Thanks again for trying to help. The only operating system I have the option to update to is Catalina and I'm not wanting to update to that at this time. However my husband has a mac computer and his is new with the newest operating system. I still get the same error even on his computer. I have even tried 2 different windows computers that are in the house as well. It's definitely not my devices. I also tried my ipad and iphone. Like I said I came across another post with another pogo member with the same error. I do hope that it gets fixed at some point. I've literally tried everything. Here is the program compatibility for the other Mac computer so you can see it does have the most recent operating system as well as do not track disabled.

    Yes, I did notice a message that said there was an update on the site and to refresh the page while i was on pogo playing. I did go and check the friends profiles page after doing so and could access it once again.
