how to add people to our friends list in the new pogo

how do you add people to your friends list.  I got to add some before the change in canasta but their a few that I couldn't get to because they weren't online.  It is impossible to do it from the can...

To add a player to your friends list just click on their name and click on add to friends list.

    I clicked on their name in Jungle Gin and nothing happened
