Pogo Moderator
I viewed a comment on the Pogo Forum where a Moderator was replying to Pogo Players regarding Dice City auction rooms missing for 3 days, they stated:
"The Mod response people are just members like you that help out in forums. We don't have any ability to impact or correct game issues. I'll also note that we cannot force people to join rooms or to wait to play."
I'm confused by this statement - Is this moderator implying they have no communication with any EA management or staff to report problems? I thought moderators worked as a team in being the liaison between the company and the players.
The last sentence was also confusing - "we cannot force people to join rooms or wait to play." What is this implying?
The entire thread can be viewed on Pogo Forms, search "Dice City", May 8, 2024
Hey @abbycattx
To confirm for the Pogo Forums;
Global Moderators are regular players with Pogo accounts just like yourself, they are not EA Employees but do work with the Pogo team on raising issues and community feedback.
They may also be able to help you faster than other community members or the administrator of the Pogo Forums (Sconnie). You might notice them more actively across posts on the Pogo Forums.
However, to confirm they do not directly work on the Pogo team. As an example, if there is a technical issue that prevents a game from loading, Our Moderator team will not work on resolving that issue, the Pogo team will.
For the bit about not being able to force people to join rooms, this is about games on Pogo that may have rooms available. Moderators are not able to control these rooms on request.
Thanks!
