Pogo Support
I am so confused, and not sure where to go from here.
I tried to retrieve my old pogo name, but couldn't figure it out, so created a new one. This got tied to my ea account.
I then figured out how to get the old one back, but upon doing so, it had me create a new email as the email it had on it previously was now taken with the new pogo I just created.
I have been trying since October of last year to get EA to help me with this. Every time I have gone there, their tools are down and I am asked to come back.
Finally, someone was able to help me, but there was a misunderstanding. When I explained that I wanted to switch my pogo accounts around to go with the correct EA account, the person switched my email accounts around. This did not do what I thought it was going to do. Instead it just switch the games I had on one to other account, and the pogo account on the other to that one.
I talked with a few different people afterwards. The next person suggested I merge, and after spending an hour of confirming my emails over and over and okaying everything, they told me that tools went down and I would need to contact again. Afterwards, I was kind of relieved it didn't work because how would they merge two accounts when both accounts have a pogo account on it?
The next person I talked to said I would receive an email concerning the pogo issue, but I never did. I then went back to EA again to the same case, and that person told me I have to start all over because I reopened the case. I hadn't understood why I was waiting for an email with the first person. This person explained to me it was because pogo had to handle it on their end. Still no email. This was back on July 30th.
The last thing I did was come to pogo instead and clicked on the help here thinking perhaps I need to go directly through pogo. Once again, I was told I would get an email to work this out. I don't understand what is going on. I don't know how to better explain what I am wanting to do. Does it take a long time for them to contact you? Should I be more patient?
All I am wanting to do is get rid of the new pogo account I created, so I can put my old one with my EA account that I use so that I can have 1 pogo, and one EA account with my email.
I really wish there was a way to close a pogo account that I don't want, and be able to change my password on it. This pogo account had always had my email on it until I created the new one and it forced me to change my email because it couldn't have two pogo accounts with the same email. I don't know why it didn't come up and tell me the email was in use when I created the new pogo account. That would have saved me all this problem.

Thanks for reaching out to the Pogo community on Answers HQ, While it's not good to hear were running into these difficulties we are unable to assist with account-related issues or changes here on the forums.
You will need to continue speaking with our support for assistance pulling up all of your EA/Pogo accounts and getting the proper account updated with the correct information.
