Hey there, @tanniaels. Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately, if you buy Gems in the same tab as your game, it does pull you away from the game page to go through the purchasing process. I would recommend opening a new tab to purchase Gems in the future, so that you can keep your game in progress going without interruptions.

As for the double purchase, however, that's definitely not intended. I would reach out to EA Help and our game advisors can take a look for you to see what may have occurred there.

To contact EA Help:

  • Go to https://help.ea.com
  • Click "Contact Us"
  • Select Pogo from the game list
  • Select PC or Mac
  • Select Orders > Dispute charge (if you were charged twice)
  • Click Select contact option
