Is that the only way to learn? Are there written instructions somewhere to review? I have no clue what matches to what, and eveything I attempted today did nothing.
Notice the JERKS at EA don't answer!!!!!

Apologies but the Pogo site does not have online documentation or instructions to review.
If you would like you can try searching posts on the Pogo Forums, or even create your own post to see if somone might be able to share their own strategies for Merge Acadmey.

Outside of using the forums, you might be able to search for a content creator online that shows off how to best play Merge Academy.

As EA_Illium stated the Merge Academy Forums on Pogo has dedicated space for this game, with a plethora of players asking and answering many questions.
Also, players of Merge Academy have posted online videos to provide assistance.
