using a wild dice in yahtzee party

A person has to play 400 games in order to use a 50 wild dice in yahtzee party. I honestly wouldn't mind playing that many games if my points to get a wild dice would stay but for some reason it keeps telling me I don't have enough, even though there was enough there before I started that particular game. It's very frustrating !
