Why did POGO create a progressive challenge that Merge Academy is the second badge when they were aware they had this problem and they knew that many of their clients would not be able to complete this challenge as well as not being able to participate in Merge Academy game of the month for August? Very upsetting and frustrating.

I'm in the same position.
I have no sewing machine and no idea as to how I can complete the badges. All i see on pogo now, is games that require a lot of gems. Most games don't even have badges anymore
For some reason the game itself stopped offering the items to make the sewing machine (recipe on first page of my posting).
I haven't heard any clear updates yet on the Sewing Machine Generator. I will be sure to update this posting when I do.
This is the only hope I have seen recently.

I finally got my sewing machine. The final piece I needed showed up in the daily chest (for 55 coins). That was the first time anything like that showed up in there.I sure hope it shows up soon in my marketplace. I have 6 generators now, just not the sewing machine. I can't complete my badge now either cause of this.

I am also one who can not win because of the sewing machine problem I have wrote about this problem so many times and not received any help I am getting upset about this game. Please fix this problem

I have not heard any updates or notifications as of yet. However, I did see this week the picture changed for the game - now it has a fairy?!? Hopefully we will get an update on this soon.
I mentioned this issue back in June. I finally found a place where I could submit a case in August, and I was told that they were aware of this issue. Then they closed the ticket. Again, this was in August. I post on their Forums that it still isn't fixed, and they jump all over me for reposting. How about them FIXING the problem???
