The same thing happens to me. I lose rating points overnight or any time I leave the site to do something else. In addition, if my opponent leaves, I am also penalized by losing points and then am required to sign in again to pogo and lose even more points then. Went from 1179 to 929 in 2 days unrelated to the win/loss ratio. Why are rating pts based solely on wins vs losses, with quitters punished by point loss and those who are stil there at least lose no pts. This situation has been going on since June 2020 for me.

That's no good. ☹️ Would you also be able to share the following?
- Your Pogo Compatibility Tool system information. This will help rule out any technical issues when sent to the Pogo team.
- Date of the last rated game you played
- Your and your opponent's ratings before the game
- Your and your opponent's ratings after the game
- Your rating upon returning to the game in a new session
It would help a lot in tracking down what's going on behind the scenes here.

If you had asked this immediately after my phone message, 2 e-mails, and then the e-mail passing the buck to me. All of the respondents have the exact same complaint. I have probably played 30 games after my posting, and by the way, lost them all to huge dumps of red 3s to my opponent! I also have been a paying member since 2012 and see no reason why I should do any more. None of the canasta problems existed before EA took over. The environment was more social, people were polite and enjoyed having fun. Fun doesn't seem to be in the vocabulary of most players. If you want me to help, please tell me EXACTLY what info you need (it is NOT a compatibility issue!!).

We're approaching a year with this rating issue. It's getting worse, not better. I have been playing off and on since early morning, and every time I return after a brief break, my rating goes down, anywhere from 4 to 21pts. Once in a while when I win, my rating increases, usually it drops. I just beat a player rated at 1235 by 1000 pts and my rating dropped from 985 to 969. It's patently unfair, only happens to some of us, we all pay, and EA does nothing but ask for the same dumb info over and over.When will something be done? The easiest thing to do is count wins and losses and drop the rest of the data you collect. EA NEVER EVEN REPLIES!!

I have always lost points almost daily, but this was a different situation. I finished playing a rated game. I did not leave the site. I decided to work on a badge playing with bots. As soon as I hit that category, MY RATING DROPPED 40 POINTS. THE GAME HAD NOT EVEN STARTED!!!!!!!
