there is a bug associated with this game your tech support told me I had to report it here. I am winning games and my rating is going down. [removed] fix the problems [CM edit - Updated title after breaking off post into its own thread, and removed masked profanity to adhere to the AHQ rules.]

this is a major issue, everytime you leave canasta your rating goes down, ive won many many games and lost just a few and my rating is almost as low as when i started

@EA_Arrenai theres an issue with the game, everytime you leave canasta to go to the home page you lose ranking points, its as if you have lost a game which is not the case but the program thinks you have lost by going to the home page, this needs fixing ASAP

@EA_Arrenai Hi, its not during game play, its after the game is complete you leave the table which is fine and you are back on the canasta menu, there are four game options, if ever you want to leave this screen and go back to the main menu you lose points, it also prompts you by saying if you leave this game your progress will be lost. With the game in this mode you would have to stay in the canasta game forever and not play anything else.

can you plz fix whatever is wrong with me playing canasta and losing my ratings everytime I leave the game and go back to play later,my ratings are lower than what I earned

This is the second time this has happened. I win fair and square, receive the proverbial "Congratulations , you won!" message only to have my rating decrease by the associated points as if I had lost the game (a decrease of 23 the first time it happened and tonight, a decrease of 13). In each instance, it occurs when I play a ranked player that has more than 1100+ rating.
I have a 55/out of 100 ranking but whenever I get close to a high 800 ranking, I noticed that I keep losing until I am almost am in the low 700's.

it takes your points when you win game playing lower rating every time in canasta. that is not right . i have lost a lot of points ,why is this issue not fixed. i liked the old pogo canasta where you could pick room and players by ratings . i have lost 30 pts. at a time playing low rating

I have the same issue. my rating can vary just changing from one screen to another. I just finished a game with someone with a much higher rating, and my rating dropped more than 30 points after losing. Other times, I play someone with a similar or high rating, and my rating drops after winning.
It takes some time to increase one's ratings, and it's frustrating to lose progress due to a pogo bug. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the bug - just random ups and downs of my rating.

@EA_Illium Liar liar pants on fire! Been investigating since March 2021? Really? Worse than the U.S. government. Make sure you get our money, create stupid new Mahjong games (really all the same) and take away all the games that require a brain (e.g. Bridge, Poker, Hearts etc). Criminal. Never talked to anyone at EA who was honest. Shameful

This has also happened to me a lot lately. This and gin are the only two games i play and if I cant play Canasta I may just cancel my membership. Especially if they dont give us any answers .

I complain to my hubby all the time about this Canasta problem. He says it's just a game and don't worry about it...........sure, hun!
I just won a game and got 4 points. I left a game to use the restroom quickly, with a brb, and I lost 24 points.
I almost never play anyone with a higher rank than my 1200+, mostly 700-900 ranks, so if I win I get 2-5 points. And POGO calls this an EXCLUSIVE game?
I dis not want to renew, but they auto renewed and charged my credit card.
