Hello! Sorry you are experiencing difficulties; it is frustrating when a favorite game isn't working quite right! When the house appears black in your Solitaire Home Story, it may be due to a graphics or display issues or a few others.

HTML5 games can be resource-intensive, especially when they use complex graphics, animations, or multimedia elements. Since these games rely on our device’s browser to run, they can demand a lot of memory (RAM) and processing power. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve it:

    Troubleshooting Steps:

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Temporary files or corrupted cookies might be causing issues. Clearing them often helps.

Update Your Graphics DriverTroubleshooting graphics on PC An outdated or faulty graphics driver can cause various issues. Try updating your graphics driver to see if this helps resolve the problem.

Power Cycling:  Unplug your router, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then plug it back in. This rebooting helps clear the cache on the router and helps with updates. Additionally check the quality of your Ethernet Cable (CAT cable) to ensure you are getting top speed from your provider. There should be a number on the cord, the best at this time is 6 and up!

Updates: Ensure you have the latest update and patches for your system. Our computers have several programs running all at once, on occasion if one is trying to update behind the scenes or fails to update completely this could cause a lag in performance.

High Usage: Freeing up system memory by closing other tabs and applications is a simple but effective way to improve performance when playing HTML5 games.

Check your Hardware Compatibility: Make sure your device meets the minimum requirements for Pogo. You need at least 8GB of RAM. Not having enough memory can make webpages slow to load, timeout, freeze and exit abruptly. System requirements to play Pogo games
