It seems to be a problem with the "cash" graphic.  Getting credit for my winnings is much more important to me than seeing the graphic, so I would still be mad, but less so if the graphic crashed but I still got my money.  As it is, the clocks dutifully reset, but then I am screwed on the rent.  Why bother?
