Jet Set Solitaire/ Tri Peaks Solitaire

I seem to be having issues with both Jet Set and Tri Peaks Solitaire. Sometimes when I try to draw a new card from the stack because I can´t use the cad on my hand the game will automaticlly draw two cards from the stack, so one will be "lost". E.g. it just jumps directly from 20 cards in the stackpile to 18, which means I lose one card. This happens multiple times each game, but not every time I draw a card from the stack. Any solutions? Is this normal? Ißm a little frustrated, because i am loosing about 4 or so cards per game like that which lowers my ability to win the game.
