Merge Academy and spent gems

I was playing the new part where you spawn knives and hammers, etc. It just popped open the "buy more energy" tab when I ran out of energy. In trying to close the window (on my phone) I accidentally clicked and spent 50 gems for energy. Please, is there a way to undo this purchase? It doesn't even ask if you want to, it's one click and they're done. Playing on Android. Screen name Rescuebabe2002.
