Hello! When a device begins to freeze, it’s like waving a little white flag saying, “I’m overwhelmed, or this is too much and I'm having difficulty!” Freezing, sluggishness, unresponsiveness, and stalling can all signify a state of being overwhelmed.
Quick Fixes:
While gaming, try and have only the Pogo site open: Too many tasks at once running on a device - running multiple apps, tabs, and background processes can hit its limit.
Storage congestion: Cached files can become outdated or corrupted, make sure to clear your Cache & Cookies often.
Updates: Ensure you device is up to date, at times when something in the background is trying to download/update this can cause freezing on what we are trying to do. Pogo uses our browsers heavily, ensure your browser is up to date as well, on most devices they update every 4-6 weeks sometimes on their own and at other times its waiting for our approval.
Memory & Graphics Driver: Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements of memory and check your device to see if the graphic driver is up to date. Keeping your system’s memory and graphics driver in check is key to smooth performance, especially for gaming.
Give these troubleshooting steps a try - If you need help with any step, search online for tutorials specific to your device.
Hope this helps and please feel free to reach back out and let us know how it goes!
