Why does this always happen when they start the new side game? Sugar Rush isn't saving progress, and the game itself keeps shutting me down and not saving progress! Why??

When new updates, graphics, or features are released, older data stored in your cookies and cache can sometimes block those changes from loading correctly. Clearing your cookies and cache gives the game a fresh start, helps new content appear as intended, and ensures everything runs smoothly. For this week's Sugar Rush Event - I was able to locate and create the Bag of Sugar Generator today 🍬
same. i got pretty far, completed a few orders and made a card set. all of a sudden when i go to the actual game, it isn't saving progress. i close out the game and go back in to see i have not made my card set and my progress in the side game is diminished.
I'm really getting tired of POGO'S CRAP. I used of loved playing the side games of Medge Academy but the last few time I haven't been able to finish Coral Reef .Cause I haven't been able to get the tackle box. And in Sugar Rush get the bag of sugar. And as the game that was my all time favorite Quinns Aquarium that just ruined. Who cares about playing poker and Sudoku. I don't. So my Anniversary with POGO is coming up in September and don't know if I'm going to renew.
Oh and when you find the site for the Tech the person you finally get doesn't know how to fix the problem you're having with the game. They say we'll get back you. The next thing I get is a e-mail saying that the case is close ,and the game is not fixed.

I understand your frustration and the level of difficulty has changed. Some players have mentioned “the generator is broken,” “this isn’t solved,” or “needs to be fixed.” This isn’t a bug or a glitch waiting to be addressed. It’s simply how the mini games are currently structured.
There are no service announcements from Pogo_Sconnie regarding missing generators in the side games of Merge Academy. If a service alert is announced, please be assured it will be posted immediately, and players would have been advised.

On December 22, 2025, the announcement was made regarding the retirement of Quinn's Aquarium, and numerous players are feeling the absence of Quinn's Aquarium. This particular game was developed by a company named Jolly Bear Games, and it was hosted on Pogo.
Neither Pogo nor Jolly Bear Games have disclosed the precise reason for Quinn's Aquarium's departure from Pogo, but it was probably one of those tough decisions made for the long-term benefit of both companies. Regardless of the reason, decisions like this are rarely made lightly.
At this time Pogo does offer 3 other Mahjong Games and possibly more in the future. 🙂

I’m sorry that happened, I know it’s frustrating when an issue doesn’t get resolved the first time. When a case is created with EA Help, they’ll make every effort to assist. If they’re unable to provide further support, the case may be closed and forwarded to the Pogo Team for additional analysis & reporting, at other times they may suggest posting here.
If there is an issue with a game, we would begin to see Alerts and Service Announcements here and through Pogo_Sconnie on the Pogo website. Players would be notified immediately.

Yet again a 4th side game has started and I can't make the hard candy balls as I am not getting the sugar ingredients I need to further the recipes. I'm done. The object of sanity is keeping playing these stupid games that pogo can't obviously fix with the hope they will. I don't need rewards for using this service I need the game to be fixed. Im done!!!
Why do these threads keep being marked as solved? These issues are NOT solved, as evidenced by the users who keep commenting about being unhappy about it. I am currently at 35/57 tiles broken and still have not completed the bag of sugar. Last week I was at 51 or 52 before I received the last piece to complete the THIRD level. With only eight hours or so left in the challenge, there was no possible way to advance far enough to come close to completing it. Even by spending money to purchase coins and energy, it would be impossible to complete any of these challenge in 7 days. All it does is create frustration and resentment. I have been with Pogo for about 25 years, and for the first time ever, I am to the point of wanting to move on and not renew my subscription when the time comes. Someone needs to start paying attention or risk losing droves of subscribers.
