Just a heads up. Do NOT watch the movie if you finish the grandmother challenge! I did and it took EVERYTHING it had just given me away. All the energy. All the coins. All the gems. Everything. Gone. It took me weeks to finish that challenge and all for nothing. The movie just shows them talking and grandmother says let's have tea. That's it.

I finished this challenge a while ago myself and did not have this issue. I'm wondering if this has to do with the recent energy/item problems this game has been having otherwise lately. If that is the case, I would recommend to others finishing any challenge to use the items right away and not watch the dialogue until after you have redeemed everything.
I would love to get my items back. WitchCeCe is my user name. The recent energy item was resolved but not this.
I am having the same issue. I lost hundreds of energy and the problem started after the challenge with the grandmother like everyone is saying. The trash will not allow me to redeem the energy or coins. If I click on it, the entire game resets. If the energy is at the 100 max, it will drop to 45. My username is shanny75.
Guys go play it on crazygames.com They still have some glitches, but WAY less than pogo, and it also allows you to play for free and it resets more stuff more often. And if you want to buy coins its cheaper overall. I cancelled my pogo account since they wont do anything about us losing our stuff. Big time disappointed.
Thanks for the info! I did try it on crazygames and it's a little different but still the same game overall. I still don't have my winnings from the grandmother challenge and it took a month to get my 150 coins back from the Valentine fiasco on Home Story so I'm not hopeful. I also didn't and won't buy it again for the Easter one.
UPDATE: I still don't have my winnings from the grandmother challenge. I am however playing it on the game site someone suggested and so far, no glitches!!
