Re: Daily Sudoku won't load the screen properly

Hello Pogo Daily Sudoku players,

We've seen and confirmed an issue with some players on slow machines, machines with taxed resources or with slow network connections. The issue displays as a screen overlay when quickly choosing your difficulty level (Beginner, etc) on these slower machines before the game can finish loading in the background.

Work around/fix: Reload your page and wait 5 -10 seconds to allow your game to load properly in the background.

There should be a 'background flicker' to let you know the loading has finished if you want a definitive confirmation.


Here's the way to see if your machine is struggling to load the game:

1. Load Pogo Daily Sudoku
2. Upon finishing loading difficulty selection screen, there is a brief flicker in the background
3. IF you select a difficulty level BEFORE the "flicker", you may see the overlay issue

Because this is a network/machine performance, we'll be monitoring the issue, but won't be able to resolve it for players currently. We'll update status here as they come.

    I tried on different devices and nothing works.  I tried on a brand new computer, a 2 year old computer, and my phone.  No dice.  It has to be something on Pogo's end.  I am disappointed and thinking about ending my membership.  

  • It is pogos job to get the games working. We pay for pogo and expect good service. Daily sudoku has always been a problem
