I have been complaining about this problem for months.  Most recently I called EA help and went through ALL of their troubleshooting, even going so far as to turn off my router, wait and restart after clearing cache, turning off and on computer, changing browsers, closing all other programs, etc., etc.  I see a number of similar evidence of the bug in this game.  Some of these go back more than 1 year and seem to relate to the introduction of the "new tiles."

    Ea does not want to fix game.  tiles get stuck after being matched. If you don't pay attention you can go through half a game.before realizing.  have to restart many times.  have complained many times; but it does no good.  At one time you were able to chat with someone; now you can't even do that.  Also gave me hard time with signing on  to EA; always saying password incorrect; finally canceled yearly subscription.  May cancel completely.  roach5467
