Solitaire Home Story Lost Progress

I've been working my way through chapter 13, The Veranda, and lost the progress I had made. I had removed the bees and repaired the hole in the wall then was supposed to start repairing the hand rail. Now the game has gone back to removing the bees. I spent two stars getting supplies from the basement again hoping it would reset to where it should be. No luck! Any ideas on what happened and how to fix it?
