Forum Discussion
Dear Community Team and Developers,
I want to provide crucial user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) feedback regarding the persistent floating game advertisements and their timers on the right side of the screen.
The Problem: Obtrusive Ad Timer Placement
As clearly visible in the provided screenshot:
Screen Clutter: The floating icons/timers for the daily ad rewards (2d, 7h, 11h, 3d, etc.) consume a significant and permanent amount of screen real estate.
Functional Interference: The icons are placed directly over the game's active city view. When trying to tap on city objects—such as factories, stores, or buildings near the right edge of the city—it is extremely easy to inadvertently hit the floating ad icons instead.
Disruption: Accidentally tapping an ad timer disrupts gameplay flow, forcing the player to either watch an unwanted ad or take extra steps to close the ad window.
Proposed Solution: Re-Locate or Consolidate
To resolve this persistent UI issue and improve the quality of life for all players, please consider one of the following changes:
Consolidation: Move all timed ad reward notifications into a single, collapsible icon (e.g., a Gift Box or Video Camera icon) and place it neatly within the existing, less active side menus (like the Settings/Mayor's Pass area).
Relocation: Move the floating icons to the less used bottom-left corner or consolidate them into a thin, non-interactive bar at the very top or bottom of the screen.
The current placement is highly disruptive and compromises the player's ability to easily interact with their city. Please prioritize making the main city view tap-friendly.
Thank you for addressing this critical UI flaw.
