Money Grab
Has anyone else felt in the last 18 months especially the last 6 months, that this game has turned into a pure money grab game? I’ve been playing now about 10 -12 years & have absolutely loved it, logging in several times a day! Recently though the game I love has disappeared, now I can only play competitive for 2 days before limitations are placed on my progress or other objectives are now only included with me parting with my $, or watching many many more videos, these have increased 10 fold, yet my advancement has been stifled, I did have a team of about 20, now rarely 1 or team play diligently.No Epic buildings
Since the update partial for me there are no epic buildings in any of my cities. I’ve spent days trying to get help from customer service waiting days for replies that don’t help the problem. This is the final straw. The cost of playing this game is no longer worth the enjoyment. Customer service needs more staff to run their business.Santa’s Airport Costs and Frosty Coin Scrooge

Is someone able to tell those of us who are not "in the know" - how are Maxis Manors and Maxis HQ impacted by the Services 2.0 update? I apologize for creating a new thread, but I am unsure if this question should go into the feedback thread or not. I have 4 Maxis Manors and 3 Maxis HQ's and I'd really hate to have to stop using them because of this rubbish update that nobody asked for. Should I just delete my last city? I haven't deleted my last remaining city simply because I've sank a lot of money into it, and this update has pretty much make me feel like I flushed my money down a toilet. Feedback to Developers: your methods of communication are completely terrible. Apparently (saying apparently because my last city hasn't received the services 2.0 yet) some fully upgraded service buildings have been dropped into our stored buildings - if this is so, you could have told us and saved yourselves and all of us a headache, and while it's extremely inconvenient, there may have been way less complaints. You could have also explained how Maxis HQ and Maxis Manors would be impacted by the Services update. COMMUNICATION HELPS.

the blinking of the commercial and industrial buildings for this season is preventing me from playing safely. deliberately choosing to injure some of your players is actionable. The icons for the seasonal items are not available in team chat. You can neither ask for them or respond to requests easily. (I don't even know what they are all called yet anyway) Speaking of seasonal items, why not just reopen Santa's Workshop for the duration and make them all there and save a lot of complications? The core commercial buildings are bottlenecks as it is! Santa's Airport is yet another hot-spot requiring a ridiculous amount of Frosty Coins to upgrade it ~ I won't be stressing myself this season or any other future seasons for that matter trying to upgrade these silly buildings that I don't have space for anyway. Cozy Homes ~ why? We don't need them, except for those pesky coins and just like Old Town Houses, their maximum population is rubbish. I'm writing off this season after less than 2 hours, it's a complete waste of my time already 😒 Remember it's a game, meant to be enjoyed, not an unpaid second job. Merry Christmas
