Community ManagerMy biggest problem is that I spent years to perfect the layout of my city. Now with services 2.0 this layout is completely broken as services like police stations, clinics and fire departments as I used them so far do not suffice anymore, even in their respective highest levels. Why is this such a big problem? To make the city working again I would have to replace service buildings by larger ones which need more space. That breaks the layout completely. Moreover, even if I would try to start rearranging things, I do not have enough land to do so. I appreciate the efforts of EA to get something new into the game. However, when you have a carefully adjusted layout of a city you spent years crafting, the new services break things which cannot be repaired in any sensible way. I have to say that in my personal case, I do not know how I can continue playing the game. I do not see a feasible way that my city can be rearranged such that all service requirements are met. Does anybody else have a similar problem/experience?
I (luckily) have not got the update yet but when i do I’m off to Global City.
The only logical solution if services require more space allowing them to be in the right place is to delete population/residences.
This update works only for new-cities not established ones. Clearly EA don’t have loyalty to long term players
