The Services 2.0 update, unfortunately, leaves a very negative impression.
The changes do not feel like an improvement to the gameplay. On the contrary, the system has become less user-friendly, less transparent, and unnecessarily overcomplicated. The balance feels off, the logic behind how services function is questionable, and managing a city now requires more effort without delivering any meaningful payoff or enjoyment.
Instead of refinement and optimization, we received complexity for the sake of complexity. Many of the design choices appear poorly thought out and give the impression that the update was released without sufficient real gameplay testing.
At its current state, Services 2.0 feels like a step backward rather than a step forward. A reconsideration of the core mechanics, simplification of the system, and a renewed focus on player comfort and strategic depth would be highly appreciated.
VelizadeSona we the player community are the testers. EA would not pay for a production and development and testing platforms so they release untested code into production and ignore us when we tell them it doesn’t work.
BTW: EA stands for Entirely Adverts, they are slowly removing everything good from the game and replacing it with adverts
