Feedback on Services 2.0 Bug Impacting Player Spending
Hi EA team, hopefully you are doing well, I’d like to share some feedback regarding the ongoing Services 2.0 issues.
I’m an active player and a first-time potential buyer. I was considering spending money during the current end-of-year sale. However, due to the unresolved Services 2.0 bug (residential buildings showing red service warnings despite sufficient coverage and upgraded services), I’ve decided not to spend at this time.
This issue affects core gameplay and makes it difficult to feel confident about purchasing SimCash or premium items when basic city services are not working correctly. In my case, buildings covered by Maxis Manor and fully upgraded services are still showing shortages, which worked fine before recent updates.
I wanted to raise this not as a complaint, but as feedback:
bugs like this directly affect player trust and willingness to spend, especially for players who are considering their first purchase.
I hope the team can acknowledge and prioritise this issue, as I (and likely others) would be happy to support the game once the problem is resolved.
