EA,
Your service update 2.0 is nothing but garbage, in fact it is a sham, outright dishonest and backstabbing.
We have spent over 10 years building our cities only to have you come along in one update wiping out all of our EMS and Utilities services. Yes that is correct - now we have to deal with demand issues that we have already satisfied by purchasing enough supply to meet our demand. With this update demand in now over 12 times what it used to be, resulting in a net loss of services.
The cost - geez who knows, we dd upgrade three solar farms in Green Valley just to see. Demand is now 1976 units where before it was 165. We spent $51,000 Simoleans to upgrade each of those three solar farms to the maximum level. And get this - our capacity in now only 540. Each solar farm now has a capacity of 180. Three times 180 equals the the 540 just mentioned. At this rate we would need to spend another:
1976-540=1436 and 1436 / 180=7.9 or we will round up to 8 new additional solar farms. Each solar farm upgrade to the max level cost us $17.,000 Simoleans. Then 8 * 17,000= 136,000 Simoleans to get this to where capacity equals demand. Adding what we spent to get an idea of how much this would cost - $51,000 + 136,000= $187,000 Simoleans. And that is just one of the four Utility Services and in one region only.
Our Capital City is over 2,000,000 Sims and Green Valley is 290,000 Sims - just imagine how much that will cost to upgrade Power, Water, Sewage, Waste, Fire, Police and Health.
We have built our cities with capacity outpacing demand according to the rules. And now you change the rules and say we have to start over? Not so fast EA.
This is border-lining a huge class action lawsuit from all the established players. You simply cannot change the rules after we have played by the rules and say - you have to start over.
And you are calling this a great update?

We made a mistake in our statement - however it makes this scenario even worse. A solar farm only has 35 units of capacity not 65. And this would make the upgrading process even more catastrophic.
